Apple released iOS 8.Trio today with several bug fixes and a few fresh additions and you can update now by going to Software Update on your iOS devices.
Apple also released an update to Mac OS X Yosemite today to introduce the fresh Photos app as well as other fixes and enhancements. Since one of the main features of the Photos app is the capability to sync photos and edits across all your devices, the simultaneous release of updates to both operating systems is most likely to make sure your Apple devices work together sleekly.
What’s fresh in iOS 8.Trio?
As a point upgrade, there aren’t many sweeping switches to iOS, but there are a duo of features worth noting.
Eventually, three hundred fresh characters have been added to the emoji keyboard that suggest some racial diversity where there were limited options before. You can now touch and hold on certain emoji that represent people and you’re given a pop-up that gives you some options to better represent different races.
The iCloud Photo library has also been optimized to work with the fresh Photos app in Mac OS X Ten.Ten.Trio.
